837 aircraft of various models were sold onsite, 250% more than at AERO Asia’s debut edition, while the transaction value exceeded RMB 7 billion (nearly USD 1 billion). Speaking at the show’s close, Ms Wendy Wen, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said: “The deals already confirmed are just the beginning – connections have been made at AERO Asia 2025 that will lead to more commerce and innovation in the months and years to come. For Messe Frankfurt to enter general aviation so successfully is an outstanding achievement, and a testament to the strong backing this show has received by government organisations, our partners at Zhuhai Airshow Group, and the many global industry players who have bet on the limitless potential of this sector and this platform.”
Chairman and General Manager of Zhuhai Airshow Group Co Ltd, Ms Cheng Min, said: “We are delighted to cooperate with Messe Frankfurt to co-organise AERO Asia 2025, which has strengthened our ‘dual show’ framework of Airshow China in even years and AERO Asia in odd years. Drawing on mutual strengths, we ensured this show’s resounding success – giving a strong boost to the quality development of the aviation industry and low-altitude economy in Zhuhai and the Greater Bay Area. AERO Asia 2025 attracted 40 authoritative industry organisations, media outlets and associations from home and abroad as supporting organisations, allowing for a comprehensive exhibition platform integrated with conferences, competitions, and activities.”
While China has taken an early lead in developing and potentially utilising vertical take-off and landing aircraft, innovators in other countries are also making strides to implement the technology. In service of this international facilitation at the show, Messe Frankfurt and NexAvian from Singapore not only co-organised a panel discussing advanced air mobility (AAM) evolution across APAC, but also signed an MOU detailing the two parties’ intentions to increase collaboration with each other and regional partners ahead of AERO Asia 2027. Through this partnership, the show is positioned as a pivotal player within the AAM and LAE ecosystem, fostering engagement throughout the Greater Bay Area, Asia and beyond.
Mr Emerson Xu, Co-Founder & CEO of NexAvian, who moderated the panel, said: “It was inspiring to witness how AERO Asia has become a meaningful platform for connecting global OEMs, regulators, operators, and investors – while also shining a spotlight on the rapid progress within China’s low-altitude economy. Working alongside Messe Frankfurt on this show and panel has been exceptionally rewarding, with a genuine commitment to elevating the global conversation on AAM. This collaboration demonstrates how thoughtfully curated forums can shape industry direction, foster trust, and catalyse new opportunities.”
Participating on the same panel was exhibitor Mr Dennis Keller, Chief Executive Officer of Seaplane Asia Limited, who struck a significant deal at the show with Hebei Northern-Heli General Aviation Group Limited for the sale of 12 Cessna Grand Caravan EX Amphibian aircraft: “We’re very happy to conclude this deal today at AERO Asia. We have different operators across Southeast Asia, and we see the market as a huge growth opportunity. This fair is a perfect showground, allowing industry players to see the plane up close and perhaps think about its capabilities.”
Zhuhai is emerging as a key hub for general aviation and the global low-altitude economy, and industry players at AERO Asia 2025 were eager to capitalise. Including 75 international and 312 domestic exhibitors, the fair showcased everything from parts and components to full-scale aircraft, eVTOLs, and UAVs, creating new opportunities for professional visitors and memorable experiences for future consumers.
There was much for visitors from 55 countries and regions to absorb across the four-day show. Beyond the booths and 174 aircraft displays, the fringe programme encompassed 98 conferences, forums, project signing ceremonies, competitions, and flying demos, with seminar topics ranging from business aviation safety to general aviation propulsion, sector-wide sustainability, and inclusivity.
At 80,153 visits, the total was nearly 18%higher than the show’s debut. Meanwhile, around 60 media outlets sent over 700 journalists to cover the show, with topics related to the fair on social media garnering more than 110 million views.

Exhibitors’ feedback
“AERO Asia has been highly significant for our business growth, as it is more specialised, focusing exclusively on general aviation. This targeted approach has brought together enthusiasts passionate about general aviation and the low-altitude economy, providing us with a platform for precise connections in this niche market. This has undoubtedly been very beneficial for expanding our business in China and across Asia. Our booth attracted numerous domestic and international visitors demonstrating strong interest in our general aviation aircraft, helicopters, and core components.”
Mr Zhiliang Xu, Deputy Secretary,

“AERO Asia 2025 has improved significantly compared to its first edition, notably in attendance, internationality, and fringe events. AsBAA expanded its involvement at this edition, gathering our members to showcase in a pavilion, hosting the 2025 GABA Safety International Symposium, and organising AsBAA Discovery, to share aviation education and culture with the next generation. This show is a great opportunity for our members to engage in business exchange, and for us to connect with other players in the industry.”

“We are at AERO Asia to introduce to the Chinese market our newly designed Skyranger airplane, which can land on short runways or small fields and reach rural areas that are unreachable with normal airplanes. This show is a good opportunity to reach out to our customers, show the public our products, and an important platform for collaboration. We’ve made many valuable connections with visitors showing genuine interest in our products, which is very encouraging, and we spoke with some operators who provided insightful feedback on our design.”

“We achieved our intended goals at AERO Asia 2025: we successfully released product updates, showcased technological advancements, and announced the launch prices of two new products. We’ve also held signing ceremonies with multiple customers related to our traditional turboprop engines, and connected with numerous domestic unmanned cargo aircraft manufacturers who intend to follow up on our turbine hybrid power products. This show has propelled the low-altitude economy from technological development to practical implementation, and we will definitely keep participating in the coming years.”

Visitors’ comments
“General aviation in Nepal is quite established, including private operators for intercity and mountainous areas, and charter rescue and cargo services using helicopters. Our main objective at AERO Asia is to explore aviation parts, consumables, and compounds, and we have found likely partners for items we are looking to import. We are also eager to work in the UAV sector, for surveying and delivery on smaller payloads, and we are considering several manufacturers here.”
Mr Santosh Sitaula, Managing Director,

“We are a globally recognised supplier of satellite communication solutions, specialising in terminal equipment such as parabolic and phased array satellites – our products have been exported to over 100 countries. The main reason we’re visiting this fair is to connect with potential partners, especially within the drone industry. In fact, we’ve already set up initial meetings with several potential clients. The exhibitors here are high-quality; most of them are from leading companies.”

“Elevate(her) offers a free life membership and operates using four key pillars – social media; events; outreach; and research. In just two and a half years, we’ve grown to include thousands of members in 64 countries, and AERO Asia’s given us an exciting opportunity to connect with and inspire even more women. Our presentation on shaping a more inclusive future for aviation enabled us to promote awareness to women and men alike, while we’ve met so many women here who are in different roles in the industry, and discussed their various, country-specific challenges.”
Ms Eloise Shuckburgh, Private Pilot,

“Smart flyer is a hybrid electric aircraft – the special feature is that pilots can easily swap the energy modules between battery-electric and hybrid-electric within a few minutes. It is appealing to flight schools everywhere due to higher flexibility, around 50% lower direct operating costs, and lower emissions. AERO Asia is one of the only general aviation platforms where you can present such new innovations. Our whole seminar audience was very interested in this new system, and the platform was very useful as most of the attendees came to our booth afterwards for more information.”
